The basic premium collected by an agent=Rs.4800

Percentage of commission he gets=8%

The commission earned by the agent:-

 = 8 \: \% \:  \: of \:  \: 4800

 =  \frac{8}{100}  \times 4800

 =  \frac{8 \times 4800}{100}

 =  \frac{38400}{100}

 =  \frac{38400 \div 100}{100 \div 100}

 =  \bold{Rs.384}

Thus, the commission he earned was=Rs.384

Therefore, the commission earned by the agent=Rs.384
