An aircraft has a take off velocity of 120 km/h.
a) Find the acceleration required by the aircraft to be in the air after a take off run of 240 m.
b)How long does it take for the aircraft to be in the air?​

Here, initial velocity of aircraft is u=0m/s.

Final velocity is v=120km/hr=3600120×1000=33.33m/s

Traveled distance is d=240m

If a be the required acceleration.

Using v2−u2=2ad,

(33.33)2−02=2a(240)

⟹ a=2.3m/s2
