An aircraft travelling at 600 km/h accelerates steadily

at 10km/h per second. Taking the speed of sound as

1100 km/h at the aircraft’s altitude, how long will it take to reach the ‘sound barrier’? please answer this question please I know I’m taking a lot of your time BUT like you know this app is FOR HELPING ♥️

it's given that it accelerates steadily at 10 km per h per second.

it is increasing its speed by 10 km/h

every seco Now, the speed of sound th

altitude at which the aircraft is flying is 1100 km/h

Now to reach the sound barrier, it should increase its

airspeed to the speed of sound which is 1100 km/h.

This means it should increase its speed by 1100-600

= 500 km/h

Since it is accelerating steadily at 10 km/h every

second, it will take 500-10 50 seconds to reach

the sound barrier.

Therefore, Ur ans isthe aircraft would reach the sound barrier

50 seconds later
