 \rm \implies s \approx 1.067\: km

So, the length of runway needed is 1.067 km

To Find : How long should the runway be, if the airplane can accelerate on the ground at 3m/s²

Solution:

u = 0

v = 80 m/s

a = 3 m/s²

v² - u² = 2aS

=> 80² - 0² = 2(3)(S)

=> S = 80²/6

=> S = 1,066.67

Hence  runway be atleast 1,066.67  m long
