An airplane starts from rest and accelerates at a constant acceleration of +3.00 m/s2 for 30.0 s before taking off. What is its displacement before leaving the ground? m

Use equation of motion
S = ut + 0.5at²

S = (0 m/s × 30.0 s) + (0.5 × 3.00 m/s² × (30.0 s)²)
S = 1350 m

∴ Displacement covered before leaving the ground is 1350 m
