distance covered = 800m
time taken to cover that distance = 16s
initial velocity = 0 m/s aa the plane would start from rest
final velocity v = speed of the plane = ?
acceleration = (v-u)/2
speed = d/t = 800/16 = 50m/s = v
acceleration = v-u/t = 50-0/2 = 25 m/s^2

Hope this helps

Candice22: its okay, no issues, i'm glad it helped you :)
braindeveloper: Hey candice22 the distance time formula can only be applied when acceleration is 0 so sorry but its wrong

Given u= 0 t= 16 s s= 800 m

We know that S= ut + 1/2at*t

800= 0*t + 1/2*a*16*16

a= 800*2/16*16

= 6.25 m/s*s

v= u+ a*t

= 0+ 6.25*16

= 100 m/s
