An aldehyde as well as a ketone can be represented by the same molecular formula, say C3H60.Write their structures and name them. State the relation between the two in the language of science.(All India - 2016)

=> Since they both have same molecular formula but having different Structure. So, They both are Isomers. The aldehydes and ketones both have a double bond between their hydrogen and their oxy atoms.

=> Carbon and its Compounds. An aldehyde, as well as ketone, can be represented by the same molecular formula say C3H6O, Write their structures and name them. State the relation between the two in the language of science. Since the molecular formula is same for both aldehyde and ketone.
