Solution:

The formula of ethanal is C H_{3} C H O and of pentan 3 one is \mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{CH}_{2}-\mathrm{CO}-\mathrm{CH}_{2} \mathrm{CH}_{3}

Hence, if these two are produced them the original compound A is equal to \left(C H_{3} C H_{2}\right) 2 C=C H C H_{3}.

3-ethyl pent - 2 - ene is the IUPAC name of the compound

Ozonolysis reaction is done in which the double bond is cleaved and is replaced by aldehyde or ketone group. Using this syntax the compound that are formed are given above.

The overall chemical reaction is

\begin{array}{l}{\left(C H_{3} C H_{2}\right) 2 C=C H C H_{3}+O_{3} \rightarrow C H_{3} C H O+C H_{3} C H_{2}-} \\ {C O-C H_{2} C H_{3}}\end{array}
