Total Parts of Alloy = 13+7+5 => 25

% of Copper = \dfrac{13}{25}\times100=13\times4=52\%

% of Zinc = \dfrac{7}{25}\times100=7\times4=28\%

% of Nickel = \dfrac{5}{25}\times100=5\times4=20\%

Therefore, the total percent adds up to 100%.

So,

% of Copper = 52%

% of Zinc = 28%

% of Nickel = 20%

Copper = 13 parts, Zinc = 7 parts

Nickel = 5 parts

Total alloy = 13 + 7 + 5 = 25 parts

Now, percentage of copper = 13/25 × 100 = 52%

Percentage of zinc = 7/25 × 100 = 28%

And percentage of nickel = 5/25 × 100 = 20 %
