You missed mentioning copper! :) Anyway below is the answer
let the total amount of alloy = 100%
copper = 30%
zinc = 40%
then Nickel = 100-(30+40)=30
the amount of nickel in the  alloy = 30/100 * 20= 6 kg
Zinc       = 40/100*20 =   8 kg
copper is = 30/100 * 20 =  6 Kg
The answer is 6kg!

Answer:

total 100%

alloy 30%

copper 40%

alloy + copper=70%

nickel=100%-70%=30%

amount of nickel=30/100*20000        eg: 1000grams=1kg

                           =6000grams=6kgs
