Zinc in 425g alloy
= 425/100 x 40 = 170 g
Copper = 425 - 170
= 255 g
= 425/100 x 40 = 170 g
Copper = 425 - 170
= 255 g

Since copper is 60%and the rest is zinc therefore amount of zinc is 100-60%=40%therefore amount of zinc=425*40/100=
170
Total is 425gm. 170+255=425gm
