Zinc in 425g alloy
= 425/100 x 40 = 170 g
Copper = 425 - 170
= 255 g

subhrabanerjee1969sb: Amount of copper =425*60/100=255gm
Ayushpratapsingh2210: Yup
subhrabanerjee1969sb: Since copper is 60%and the rest is zinc therefore amount of zinc is 100-60%=40%therefore amount of zinc=425*40/100=
subhrabanerjee1969sb: 170
subhrabanerjee1969sb: Total is 425gm. 170+255=425gm
Ayushpratapsingh2210: So whats the difference
Ayushpratapsingh2210: i hv also done the same thing
