If the alloy contains 40% copper and 32% nickel then the mixture of copper and nickel will be 40%+32%=72% present on the alloy.
Copper+Nickel+Zinc=Alloy
72%+Zinc=100%
Zinc=100%-72%
Zinc=28%
Mass of alloy is 1kg and 28% of alloy is zinc so
28/100*1000=Mass of zinc
280gm
So, 280 gm of zinc is present in 1 kg of alloy
Copper+Nickel+Zinc=Alloy
72%+Zinc=100%
Zinc=100%-72%
Zinc=28%
Mass of alloy is 1kg and 28% of alloy is zinc so
28/100*1000=Mass of zinc
280gm
So, 280 gm of zinc is present in 1 kg of alloy
