An alloy has 60%iron 25%copper and rest nickel. if we have 5 kg of alloy, find the quantity of each metal in gram

an alloy has iron = 60%
an alloy has copper = 25%

Nickel = iron + copper
= 60% + 25%
= 85%
( 100% - 85% )
= 15%

quantity of iron in 5kg alloy = 60% of 5000g
= 60/100×5000g
= 3000g.

quantity of copper in 5kg alloy = 25/100×5000g
= 1250g

quantity of nickel in 5kg alloy = 15/100×5000g
= 750g.
