The alloy contains 52% brass

So in 1 kg of the alloy, there will be 52/100*1000 GMs of brass

That’s 520gms of brass.

Therefore,in 12kg of the alloy, there will be

12*520

=6240gms of brass.

Total weight of the alloy=12kg=12000gms.

Therefore weight of copper=12000-6240

=5760gms

Ans:weight of copper=5760gms and weight of brass=6240gms.

Hope it helped you.
