An alloy of copper and zinc contains 55% copper and the rest zinc . find the weight of zinc in 2.5 kg of alloy

weight of zinc in alloy= 45/ 100 ×2.5 kg
because copper is 55% and zinc is the remaining% .I.e. 100%-55%=45%
answer= 45/100×2.5 kg =0.11 kg
