Therefore, x + y = 30 ----> 1

Now in water,

Thus x - x/10 + y - y/19 = 28

=> (171x + 180y)/190 = 28

=> 171x + 180y = 5320 ---->2

Multiplying Eq. 1 by 180 we get

180x + 180y = 5400 ---->3

Subtracting Eq.2 from Eq.3

9x = 80

=> x = 8.8889 gm

Therefore y = 30 - x

=> y = 30 - 8.8889 = 21.1111gm
