Let Marked Price be x
then,

x \times \frac{(100 - 5)}{100} = 5225 \\ x \times \frac{95}{100} = 5225 \\ x = 5225 \times \frac{100}{95} \\ x = 55 \times 100 = 5500

Marked Price of almirah is ₹5500

Answer:

M.P = 5500

Step by Step Explanation:

S.P = ₹ 5225

Discount % (D%) = 5 %

M.P = x

Discount = D% of M.P

= 5% × x

= 5/100 × x = 1/50 × x =0.05

S.P = M.P - Discount

5225 = x - 0.05x

5225 = 0.95x

x = 5225 × 100/0.95 × 100 = 522500/95 = 5500

M.P = 5500
