According to question:-

 = 95\%

Therefore,

95\% \: of \: x \: is \: 5225

 =  >  \frac{95}{100}  \times x = 5225

 =  > x = 5225 \times  \frac{100}{95}

 \huge\underline\red{Question}

An almirah is sold at Rs. 5,225 after allowing a discount of 5%. Find its marked price.

 \huge\underline\red{Answer}

We have,

S.P of almirah = Rs. 5225 ; M.P = ? ; Discount% = 5%

Discount%

 =   \frac{Discount}{M.P}   \times  \frac{M.P. - S.P}{M.P}  \times 100

M.P =  \frac{100 \times  \: S.P}{100 -  Discount \: pecentage}

 =  \frac{100 \times 5225}{100 - 5}  =  \frac{100 \times 5225}{95}

Rs. \: 5500

M.P = Rs.5500

Hope it Helps You!
