Charge on α-particle = 2α

Mass of proton =β

Mass of α-particle =4β

Kinetic energy of proton,

And Kinetic energy of α-particle,

21×4β×Vα2=2αV

⇒Vα=βαV

So,

Ratio of Vp:Vα=2:1
