             = 1/50

             = 0.02 cycles/sec

In order to change its direction in 1 sec, it takes 100 times.

It changes 100 times per second in one direction.

Given, f = 50Hz, t = 1 sec

=150

=0.02cycles/sec

In 0.02 seconds the current changes its direction twice.So in 1 sec,the current will change the direction=2/0.02=100 times
