An aluminium ring B faces an electromagnet A. The
current I through A can be altered. Then which of the
following statement is correct :-

(1) If I decreases A will repel B
(2) Whether I increases or decreases, B will not

As per Lenz law of electromagnetic induction we know that flux linked with the closed conductor will change then it will induce EMF in the conductor

So here direction of induced current in such a way that the direction of induced current is always in such a way that it opposes the causes due to which it is induced

So here when current in coil A is increased then flux linked with B will increase now B will move in such a way that it will try reduce the flux which is increased due to change in current.

So here B will move away from A

so here we will say that

(3) If I increases, A will repel B
