a)We know that,V=IR
Given,
R=0.6 ohm
I=1 A
then V=1×0.6=6 V
Now,
V=6V
I=5A
shunt resistance=V/I
6/5=1.2ohm...
b)Combined resistance of ammeter and shunt
1.2 ohm+0.6 ohm
--->1.8 ohm
