let the principle be x
therefore the amount will be 5x
therefore s.i. would be 5x-x=4x
this implies
4x=(x × R ×3)/100
therefore R will be 400/3
and for the answer the amount is to be 45x
therefore the s.i. will be 45x-x=44x
this implies 44x=(x × 400/3 × n)/100
therefore n = 33
