let personA get ₹5x and personB get ₹2x
therefore the total amount=₹[5x+2x]
here,it is given that 5x-2x=900
3x=900
hence,x=300
now,
amount personA got=5x=5*300=1500
amount personB got=2x=2*300=600
and so,the total amount=5x+2x=1500+600=2100
therefore the total amount=₹[5x+2x]
here,it is given that 5x-2x=900
3x=900
hence,x=300
now,
amount personA got=5x=5*300=1500
amount personB got=2x=2*300=600
and so,the total amount=5x+2x=1500+600=2100

Let the first person gets Rs 5x and the second person gets 2x.
As per the question,
5x - 2x = 900
3x = 900
x = 300
Total amount = 5x + 2x = 7x = 7(300) = 2100
First person got = 5(300) = 1500
Second person got = 2(300) = 600
As per the question,
5x - 2x = 900
3x = 900
x = 300
Total amount = 5x + 2x = 7x = 7(300) = 2100
First person got = 5(300) = 1500
Second person got = 2(300) = 600
