An amount of 100joule of work done in transffering a charge of 5 columb from one terminal to another terminal . find the voltage of battery

voltage of a battery=work/charge
v=100j/5c
=20j/c or 20V

✒ Work done = 100 joule.

✒ Charge = 5 coloumb.

As we know that,

Potential difference ( V ) = work done/ charge on body.

=> 100/5

=> 20 volt.

Hence, potential difference of the battery is 20 volt.
