Answer:

Let the shares of P,Q and R be Rs. 4x, Rs. 7x and Rs. 9x respectively.

Then, 9x−7x=500

⇒2x=500

⇒x=250

∴ required difference =7x−4x=3x=3×250

= Rs. 750.
