Let the two shares be A and B.

Let the amount invested in share A be x.

The amount invested in share B is :

= 100000 - x

If A yields 9%, the accumulated amount is :

x(1.09)

For B it will be :

100000 - x (1.11) = 111000 - 1.11x

The total accumulated amount is :

100000(1.0975) = 109750

Equating the three :

1.09x + 111000 - 1.11x = 109750

-0.02x = - 1250

x = 1250/0.02

x = 62500

The first share is : 62500

The second share : 100000 - 62500 = 37500
