divide amount rs 1250

rotio a.,b,c=

4:7:14

4x+7x+14x=1250

25x = 1250 / 25 =50

share of B =7x=7×50=350

share of A = 4x=4×50=200

difference in share

C =14×50=700

Ratio of difference of shares of B and A and difference of shares of C and B is 3 : 7

Solution:

Given that,

An amount of Rs 1250 is distributed among A,B and C in the ratio 4:7:14

Ratio is : 4 : 7 : 14

Let the share of A be 4x

Let the share of B be 7x

Let the share of C be 14x

Total amount = 1250

4x + 7x + 14x = 1250

25x = 1250

x = 50

Therefore,

Share of A = 4x = 4(50) = 200

Share of B = 7x = 7(50) = 350

Share of C = 14x = 14(50) = 700

Difference of shares of B and A = 350 - 200 = 150

Difference of shares of C and B = 700 - 350 = 350

Ratio = 150 : 350 = 3 : 7

Thus, ratio of difference of shares of B and A and difference of shares of C and B is 3 : 7
