Answer:

The amounts of the different utility bills are

electricity : phone = 5 : 2 or 20 : 8 or 140 : 56

phone : gas = 4 : 3 or 8 : 6 or 56 : 42

gas : water = 7 : 6 or 42 : 36.

So, the bills for electricity was 140x, for phone was 56x, for gas was 42x and for water was 36x.

The total was 140x + 56x + 42x + 36x = 27400, or

274x = 27400 or x = 100.

The bills for electricity was Rs.14,000, for phone, Rs.5,600, for gas Rs.4,200 and for water, Rs.3,600.
