♦ Total amount = ₹ 8400

✴ Let the ratios be "x"

♦ Amount with A = ₹ x
♦ Amount with B = ₹ 2x
♦ Amount with C = ₹ 4x

According to question we have,

=> x + 2x + 4x = ₹8400
=> 7x = ₹8400
=> x = 8400/7
=> x = ₹1200

Now, we have Amount with A = x = ₹ 1200
and amount with C = 4x = 4 × ₹1200 = ₹ 4800

Hence, difference between the shares of A and C is = ₹( 4800 - 1200) = ₹ 3600
