The difference between the share of B and A is 300

Solution:

Given that,

A amount of Rs.950 is distributed among A, B, & C in the ratio of 5:11:3

Ratio = 5 : 11 : 3

Let the share of A be 5x

Let the share of B be 11x

Let the share of C be 3x

Total amount = 950

5x + 11x + 3x = 950

19x = 950

x = 50

Thus,

Share of A = 5x = 5(50) = 250

Share of B = 11x = 11(50) = 550

What is the difference between the share of B and A

Share of B - A = 550 - 250 = 300

Thus difference between the share of B and A is 300
