Answer: Ratio of Money received by A and B  is 4:1

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Let money divided between A and B  is 3x and 2x

        Total money = 3x + 2x = 5x

  • A got 1/5th of the total amount more than his expected share.

     1/5th of total amount = 5x*(1/5)

  • Money received by A = 3x +  5x*(1/5)

                                              = 3x + x = 4x

  • Money received by B = Total money - Money received by A

                                              = 5x - 4x = x

  • Ratio of Money received by A and B = 4x : x  = 4:1
