Resistance , R = 5Ω

V= 220V

T= 1 hour

To find:

The heat (H) produced by the heater

Solution:

We know that,

    H = $\frac{V^{2} T}{R}$

∴     H =$\frac{ 220 * 220 * 1}{5}$

⇒    H= 9680 J/h

Hence, the heat produced by the heater is 9680 J/h.
