Answer:

Let the Third Side Be xcm

Now Perimeter=12+12+x

24+x=30

x=6

Now Find The Area Using Herons Formula

Semiperimeter=30/2=15

Sq Root(15(15-12)(15-12)(15-6))=Sq

Root(15*3*3*9)=Sq Root(1215)=34.85 cm²

So Area is 34.85 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In an isosceles triangle two sides are equal.

Therefore if two sides are 12 cm each and the perimeter is 30cm , then the other side will be(30-24)=6cm

Area of triangle = 1/2*base *height

Now height. we can find using pythogoras theorem,

h^2 = 144 - 6/4

h^2 = 570/4

h^2 = 142.25

Therefore h= 11.92

We can consider it 12cm also .

Therefore area = 3*11.92 = 35.6 or 36 cm^2 approx
