an isosceles triangle have both angles measuring equally.

and the 3 angles of a triangle measure 180 degrees.

so if the 3rd angle is 30 degrees then=x+x+30=180 degrees (x=base angles)

so x=180-30/2

=75 degrees

and if the base angle is 30 degrees then the 3rd angle will be 30+30+x=180

so x will be 180-60

=120 degrees
