let the angle be x

its complement =90-x

Now, x=90-x+14

2x=104

x=104/2=52

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the angle be r.

Its complementary angle = 90° - r.

Using the given information, we get

r = (90° - r) + 14°

→ r + r = 90° + 14°

→ 2r = 90° + 14°

→ 2r = 104°

→ r = 104° ÷ 2

→ r = 52°

Hence, the measure of the required angle is 52°.
