Question

an angle is 14°more then its complementry angle then find the angle.

Solution

x + y = 90 \\ y = 14

x + x + 14 - 14 = 90 - 14 \\ x + x = 76 \\ 2x = 76 \\  \frac{2x}{2}  =  \frac{76}{27}  \\ x = 38(complementry) \\ y = x + 14 \\ y = 38 + 14 \\ y = 52 {}^{.}

y = 52°
