let an angle=x

=another angle= 3x+20

=according to question

=x+3x+20=180(because sum of supplementary angles is 180 degree)

=4x+20=180

=4x=180-20

=4x=160

=x=160/4

=x=40

other angle=3x+20

=3(40) +20

=120+20

=140

(40, 140) is the answer
