Supplementary angle = 180°

---> ( 3/5 X 180 )°

---> (3 X 36 )°

=>  108 °

NOW,

---> 180°  - 108°

=> 72°

The angles are 67.5° and 112.5°

Given:

An angle is 3/5 of its supplement

To find:

The measurement of angle

Solution:

Supplementary angles:

If the sum of 2 angles is 180 then the pair of angles are said to be Supplementary angles

Let x and (180-x) be the angles

Given that one angle is ⅗ of its supplements

Take x = 3/5(180-x)

⇒ 5x = 3(180 - x)

⇒ 5x = 540 - 3x

⇒ 8x = 540°

⇒ x =  67.5°

And the supplementary angle x = 180 - 67.5 =  112.5°

The angles are 67.5° and 112.5°
