let \: y \: and \: x \: be \: two \: complmentary  \\ angles. \\ x + y = 90°\\ y \: is \: half \: of \: x \:  \:  \: ie. \frac{x}{2}

we \: have\\  x + y = 90 \\ x +  \frac{x}{2}  = 90 \\  \frac{3x}{2}  = 90 \\ 3x = 180 \\

x =  \frac{180}{3}  = 60° \\ angle \: required \:is \:  y =  \frac{x}{2}  =  \frac{60}{2}   \\  = 30°
