let x be larger supplementary angle
and y be smaller ( x>y).
we know that the sum of supplementary angles is 180°.
=> x + y = 180°. ....(1)
acc to question
x = 3y .....(2)
put (2) in (1),
3y + y = 180
4y = 180
y = 180/4
y = 45
put y = 45 in (2),
x = 3*45
x = 135

Hi! Here is the answer to your question. Let the angle be x. Supplement of x = 180°- x. X=180-x/3. Multiple 3 on both the sides. 3X=180-x. 3x+x=180-x+x. 4x=180° Divide 4on both the sides. 4=45° Supplement of 45° = 135° 135°÷3=45° Hope this helps you. Mark my answer as brainliest if it helps you.
