hi there!

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the angle be x and it's suplementary angle be y.

now,

x= 1/4× y

x= y/4

4x= y.... (1)...... (multiplying by 4)

Also,

x+y= 180°........( sum of the measures of supplementary angles= 180°)....(2)

now multiplying (2) by 4,

4x+ 4y = 720

y+4y= 720.......( from 1)

5y= 720

y= 720/5= 144°

hence,

y= 144°

Since,

x= y/4

x= 144/4= 36°

x= 36°

Hence,

=> angle x= 36°

=> angle y= 144°

Hope this helps!
