Let the smaller angle be x.

Then it's supplement will be 5x.

Sum of supplementary angles= 180 degrees

x+5x= 180

6x= 180

x = 30 degree.

The given angle = 5 x 30= 150 degree

And its supplement is 30 degrees

Let the unknown angle be x.

then its supplement will be (180 — x)°.

A/Q :-

x =  (\frac{1}{5})(180 - x) \\  \\  \\ x =  \frac{180 - x}{5}  \\  \\ 5x = 180 - x \\ 6x = 180 \\ x = 30

<b>Hence, the Unknown Angle was 30° and its supplement was 150° </b>
