The reason for plants having more golgi bodies than that of animals is -

In plants, golgi bodies have another name known as dictyosomes.

Plants have more golgi bodies because plants require golgi bodies in large amounts for different processes. Like - plants needs the vesicles of the golgi bodies during cytokinesis for forming the plate of cell.

Also, about 80% activity of plants takes place in golgi bodies such as : In golgi bodies pectin as well as polysaccharides are produced which are utilized to make cell wall.
