An animal often kills another animal by biting the jugular vein (tube that carries blood) in the neck, causing the animal to bleed to death quickly.

animals such as carnivorous have an idea of breaking the jugular vein , so that they would kill their prey within no time. And thus they tear out the jugular vein and the prey dead within no time..

carnivorous can have the idea to break jugular vein for their prey.. so theyntend to do so when they hunt for their prey
