Subject: Handing over a wild animal

Sir:

I wish to state that I am the resident of the above mentioned address. I want to hand over a wild animal that I had found in the forest while trekking in October 2016. It is a jackal of very rare species. The reason why I am handing over the animal so late is I had developed an affection with it. I am still greatly fond of it; but my conscience urges me daily to do the right thing. I have all the means to take care of it but, I want it to grow in natural environment. I hope you will accept the cub that has grown into an adult now. Looking forward to hearing from you.
