An ant climbs 3 cm and slips 2 cm in one minute.how much time will it take to clumb a srick of 50 cm?

When she will at last moment , she will not slip.

so,   50-3 = 47 cm

∵ she climbs 3 cm in 1 min.

∴ ''   ''      ''   ''  1 cm ''  '' = 1/3

∴ ''  ''    ''    ' ''  47 cm    '''  =  47/3 min

And at last 3 cm in 1 min.

so total time = 1 + 47/3 min

                   = 50/3 min = 16 min 40 sec
