circumference of a semi-circle= (2πr) ÷ 2

= ( 7 × 2π ) ÷ 2

= 44 ÷ 2

= 22cm

diameter = 2r

= 2 × 7

= 14cm

difference between the two ant's distance = 22 - 14

= 8cm

Hence the ant which moved from the semi-circle covers more

Hence the ant which moved from the semi-circle covers more distance then the another ant by 8 cm.
