According to Pythagoras theorem.
Hypotenuse sq. = Height sq. + Base sq.
implies that 8 sq. + 6 sq = Hypotenuse sq.
64 + 36 = 100 = Hypotenuse sq.
Hypotenuse = sq. root of 100 = 10 m.
