An ant travels 6cm from A to Be then 8cm at right angles to AB .what is the distance travelled by it and what is the displacement

in this type of question we will use Pythagoras theorem

√(6^2 +8^2)=√(36+64)=√100

=10cm is the displacement

the distance is 14cm
the displacement will be
 \sqrt{6 ^{2}  +  {8}^{2} }
